About

Academic Major: Anthropology

FLCs:  EDEC 160 A, Anya Kayne, Fall 25

Background:

Sydney Knapp was born and raised in Fort Collins, CO. She grew up in volleyball, tennis, and student council, giving her much experience with leading teams and committees. Wanting to be a California girl, she moved to attend Sonoma State and has loved every second of it. Working as a peer mentor and being able to make a difference on campus is the cherry on top!

Favorite thing about being a FAST Peer Mentor:

Sydney has been with FAST for a year now and loves the impact more than anything. Getting to be involved in making the SSU campus a home for freshmen brings the greatest sense of purpose. Having coworkers who work hard to do the same and mutually encourage one another is a bonus to an already awesome job!

Future Goals:

After graduation, Sydney plans to attend grad school at Stanford or UC Berkley to study astrophysics or something in that realm.
