Background:

Michelle grew up in Modesto and has always wanted to get into the field of counseling. Many components of counseling line up with mentoring, such as providing an empathetic and helpful attitude to others. She has a passion to help and uplift.

Favorite thing about being a FAST Peer Mentor:

Michelle has been with FAST for 2 years and loves seeing the growth of her students throughout the academic year. She also enjoys the positive and supportive work environment within FAST.

Future Goals:

After graduation, Michelle plans to get into a master's program for counseling and get her license in Marriage and Family Therapy.
