Background:

Lea is from Orange County, California, in a small beach town right before Oceanside. Coming from a small town, she has always valued community and being part of a tight-knit group. This appreciation is what inspired her to join the FAST program. Being able to support students and one another has been an amazing experience, and she is very grateful to be a part of it.

Favorite thing about being a FAST Peer Mentor:

Lea has been with FAST for 1 year, and her favorite part has been making connections with her students and faculty. 

Future Goals:

After graduation, Lea hopes to obtain hher masters and work towards being a therapist for teenagers with chronic illnesses.
