Background:

Alebreana is a proud black woman from Oakland, California. Growing up in a less-than-fortunate town with parents who never went to college, she’s always understood the importance of a good education. She’s always been interested in working with children and their mental health. This led her to choose to continue into higher education. As a first-generation college student, she works hard to make a better life for herself and her family.

Favorite thing about being a FAST Peer Mentor:

Alebreana loves working with her students and putting in that work to build that bond with them. Working with her co-workers is always a great time and leads to great conversations. 

Future Goals:

One of Alebreana's main goals after graduation is to secure a nice position working as a child psychologist. She's always known that she wanted to work with children, and after working so hard for a Psychology degree, she can continue that work with children and their own mental health.
